Kuro

Kuro is a display typeface based on a fusion of blackletter type and Japanese brush script. The result uses rigid grids to create a typeface that is geometric and angular with a distinctive cut off and blocky decoration.

Meaning black or dark in Japanese, the name Kuro (黒) refers to both the blackletter inspiration and the solid nature of the letters
